Details about the shows and the Geschwister Weisheit®

With action and speed, ten acrobats on three motorcycles, high above the park, demonstrate that you can do more than just ride on steel cables.

The Geschwister Weisheit® offer top acrobatic feats, on and under the bikes, up to 40 meters high.

This includes tooth-power acrobatics, handstands, balance beams, and the unique motorcycle pyramid with four acrobats on one motorcycle.

In addition to motocross and a handstand on the handlebars of a KTM RC 390, there will also be a large overtaking race with three motorcycles on three steel cables stretched side by side.

A unique event that will fascinate visitors of all ages, and therefore not to be missed.

Show on the highest mobile acrobatic mast in existence at a height of 62 m

Natalia and Max Rudolf Weisheit will alternate climbing the top of the mast at a height of 62 m and take the audience’s breath away with their daring acrobatics.

Whether standing on one leg or on their hands, with the living flag or the one-armed balance, they will thrill their audience. Incidentally, Natalia is the only woman in the world to work on a mast swaying up to 5 m at this height.

The highlight of the performance and the trademark of the Geschwister Weisheit® for over 60 years is the trumpet solo played on the mast.

They cross the high wire on bicycles, unicycles – and the legendary Steigerrad.

They captivate their audiences with impressive pyramids, such as the bicycle split pyramid and the three-person bicycle pyramid.

The children of the artists are no exception.

The youngest, Charly (13), Lenny (11), and Ruby (7), are the sixth generation of performers, demonstrating everything they have already learned.

The spectacular climax of their high-wire work is the five-person pyramid. They are the only high-wire ensemble in the world to perform this fantastic feat outdoors.

On a historically designed rope device, the artists transport visitors to the flair of street and high-wire acrobatics at the turn of the century. Looking back on a family tradition that now stretches back 125 years!

With barrel organ music and a voiceover, the beginnings of the high-wire tradition of the Geschwister Weisheit® (Wisdom siblings) around 1900 are brought to life in an entertaining way.

Riding a velocipede, wearing Dutch clogs (traditional wooden shoes), or walking in a silver hoop, the rope is crossed.

They even bake a pancake, sitting on the rope with a chair and an oven. Charly (13), Lenny (11), and even 7-year-old Ruby demonstrate what child acrobats have already learned on the rope.

Many awards attest to the high standing of the Geschwister Weisheit® artistry.

They have received, among other things, the Gold Medal of Honor for Artistry, the Thuringian Order of Merit, and the Special Prize of the International Jury at the 35th Circus Festival in Monte Carlo.

Rudi Weisheit (3rd generation, leader of the Geschwister Weisheit High-Tights Troupe from 1973-2010), the father, grandfather, and great-grandfather of the currently active 4th, 5th, and 6th generations, was named an Honorary Citizen of the City of Gotha in 2023 by unanimous vote of the City Council.

One of the greatest honors for the lifetime achievement of an artist who has made the name of his hometown known in Germany and around the world and represented it with dignity.

Tours have already taken the Thuringian artist family to Germany, Belgium, the Netherlands, Luxembourg, Switzerland, Italy, Greece, Spain, Romania, and to Thailand, Hong Kong, and Oman, among other places.

The Geschwister Weisheit® are particularly proud to be performing at Eifelpark Gondorf from July 12th to August 17th.

The audience will experience daily – the historic high-wire spectacle, with barrel organ music and speaking cone presentation, just as it began here exactly 125 years ago; the classic high-wire show with bicycles, unicycles, and pyramids, which won an award in Monte Carlo; and the world’s only show on the tallest mobile acrobat mast of the present day, combined with the fast-paced motorcycle show with three motorcycles strung on three steel cables stretched side by side!

All in all, three different programs at three different locations in Eifelpark – in short, a special day for the whole family!
